the black wolf thar, is Shadow (main character) the symbol on his arm is the Assassin's guard mark (his ancestors had it)

The arm with blood allover it is Balkar's arm (He's bad)
Because what he wants to do, is right now Shadow is the current decedent, and he doesn't want the assassin's guard to go on and on and on. Because when Balkar (the white wolf) was a kid, The Assassin's guard tamed dragons, and sent them to kill there camp.

Balkar being the only one left, sought revenge ON ALL

by killing anyone related to it) See the dead body thar, THat's shadow's father. His mother was also killed.

The kitty back thar is Shadow's friend, who was spending the night, when Balkar came his name is Condor (the snow leopard.
